Ravioli are shaped Italian pasta parcels made from silky wheat flour dough and stuffed with a selection of tasty fillings.

Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli are an all-time classic! The delicate but creamy filling is made by cooking whole spinach leaves and then adding the finest Ricotta cheese.

How to prepare

Because the pasta on ravioli is so fine, they take only a couple of minutes to cook in a large pan of boiling salted water. If you cook them for too long, they will become soggy and the filling will leak out.

Drain the ravioli well, being careful not to damage them. It’s a good idea to lift the ravioli out quickly with a strainer and gently lower them into the sauce rather than using a colander.

As ravioli are all about the filling, it is important to dress them with a sauce that does not distract from the flavour. Classic examples are butter and sage, butter and parmesan or a simple tomato sauce.

In Italy ravioli are traditionally served as a small portion so that each individual parcel can be savoured!  Remember to gently heat the plates before serving, so that the ravioli won’t cool off too quickly.

Important Delivery Information

Our Ravioli are made fresh once your order has been placed and delivery will normally be within 48 hours. Therefore, orders made before 2pm (Monday to Thursday) will be dispatched the following day with Royal Mail 24 Hour Delivery.  Orders placed on a Friday or over the weekend will be delivered the following Tuesday. 

If the Ravioli are ordered with other Vorrei products, please note that the fresh pasta will be sent separately and directly to you by Davide our Artisan Pasta Chef.
