Sicilian Marzipan Fruits

I bought these marzipan fruits as a change this Easter, although I believe they are traditionally given on 31 October (all souls day) in Italy. We have visited Modica about 10 years ago and had forgotten just how wonderful these marzipan fruits are. Not only are they mini works of art they taste delicious, unlike the more traditional marzipan the almond taste is slightly milder, but that's why I love them so much, a lovely way to end a meal with an espresso is purely heavenly!
