Sicilian Mushrooms in Olive Oil
Barbuscia select the fleshiest most flavourful Sicilian mushrooms and prepare them by hand, one by one before immersing them in a jar of the finest quality olive oil. They are then mixed with spices and aromas that enhance their flavour, without altering their typical rounded taste.
Extremely versatile in the kitchen, these mushrooms can be used to garnish pizzas and bruschetta. Their texture makes them ideal to use on carpaccio meats, in rice and pasta salads, as part of an antipasti platter or as a side dish.
