Almond Ricciarelli Biscuits
These soft, sweet and chewy almond biscuits based on an old recipe from Siena are made with almonds, orange, honey and egg white and sprinkled with powdered sugar. They are a classic companion to an Italian coffee but also go well with sweet wine such as our Chianti Vin Santo.
Presented in an elegant box, they also make a great Christmas gift!
Almonds 40%, sugar, egg white, glucose-fructose syrup, powdered sugar (sugar, cornstarch), sorbic acid, baking agent: ammonium, hydrogen carbonate. May contain traces of almonds, hazelnuts, pistachio nuts, egg, milk and soy.
Our new supplier in Tuscany produces a selection of delicious traditional biscuits following ancient Tuscan recipes. The company was established over 60 years ago, when Signora Jole' created her original recipe for Cantuccini biscuits and three generations of the family have subsequently run this successful and much loved business.
