Savoiardi Ladyfinger Biscuits
Savoiardi, also known as ladyfinger biscuits are mainly used in dessert recipes such as Tiramisu', Zuppa Inglese and also trifle. Light and crisp and suitable for vegetarians, these classic Italian bisuits can also be enjoyed on their own with a cup of tea or coffee or to accompany ice cream!
In Tiramisu' our Savoiardi will soak up the coffee but still remain light and fluffy. The amount you need will depend on the size of your dish but most recipes require 200 to 400g of biscuits. This packet contains two individually wrapped packets of Savoiardi to ensure freshness in case you don't need to use both at once. Why not check out our collection of Tiramisu recipes on the Vorrei blog?
