Fig Syrup (Melassa)
This ancient Calabrian speciality has been hand made by slowly cooking freshly picked local figs and filtering them to obtain a rich, dense honey-like syrup. Sweet, intense and totally delicious, this syrup can accompany cheese and fresh fruit, can be drizzled on roast meats or of course pancakes and waffles!
Figs (100%). Produced in a factory which uses also nuts, milk, sulphates, sesame, eggs, gluten and soy.
