Description

This is the flagship organic sparkling wine from the La Regola Estate, crafted using the 'Metodo Classico' (Traditional Method). By employing this prestigious technique—the same used in Champagne—the winery ensures that the secondary fermentation occurs entirely within the bottle. This process is what gives the wine its characteristic complexity and refined texture.

This organic blend of Manseng and Chardonnay rests on its yeasts for a minimum of 36 months. This long maturation period is essential to the Metodo Classico, allowing the wine to develop sophisticated aromas of bread crust, toasted brioche, and yeast.

Because it is produced as a Brut Nature, no sugar is added during the final dosage. This highlights the purity of the Gros Manseng and Chardonnay blend, resulting in a bone-dry, mineral-driven sparkling wine with a fine, persistent perlage (bubbles).

Food pairings

Shellfish and raw seafood, seafood starters and grilled fish. Italian classics such as white pizza, creamy vegetable risottos, pasta with seafood. Also goes well with aperitivo snacks such as Parmesan chunks and taralli.

La Regola

La Regola is a multi award-winning organic winery located in Riparbella, on the Tuscan Coast, in the Cecina River valley, just a few miles from the sea. This area has long been ideal for growing grapes, with vineyards, olive trees, and cypress trees creating a classic Tuscan landscape.

Archaeological finds, including remains of an Etruscan settlement from the 7th century BC and many wine amphorae, show that winemaking here has a very long history.

The soil is made of sandy layers rich in fossils, mixed with clay and iron. Along with the vineyards’ south-southeast exposure, this helps the grapes ripen evenly. As a result, the wines are elegant, well-structured, and have a long-lasting flavour.

La Regola was voted 'Winery of the Year', Central Italy for 2026 by WineMag (Italy). This major award recognises the winery for quality, consistency and identity.
