From Casarecci di Calabria, our bronze die cut artisan Trenette pasta is crafted from 100% Italian durum wheat semolina and dried at a low temperature to create a textured surface that holds sauces beautifully. Trenette is a long, flat, and narrow pasta, similar to linguine, but often slightly thicker with a more rounded edge. It originates from Genoa in the Liguria region of Italy and is famously served in the classic dish Trenette al Pesto.
The pasta’s shape makes it ideal for clinging to rich sauces, especially pesto, but it also pairs wonderfully with olive oil-based sauces, seafood, or simple tomato and basil.
