From Casarecci di Calabria, this artisan bronze die cut Trofie pasta is bronze die cut, dried at low temperatures and made with 100% Italian durum wheat semolina to create a rough texture that holds sauces perfectly.
Trofie are delicate, twisted pasta shapes with a firm bite that stays al dente when cooked. A traditional specialty of Liguria, they’re best known for pairing beautifully with fresh pesto, but also work wonderfully with tomato-based and light vegetable sauces.
