This robust and rustic red, aged for 6 months in cement vats, boasts a dark ruby-red hue. It greets the senses with aromas of cherries and blackberries. On the palate, it unfolds smoothly and elegantly, revealing flavors of blueberries accented by a hint of thyme. Subtle tannins grace the palate, leaving a lingering finish. Pair it with rabbit stew, tagliatelle with ragu, or a slice of Pecorino Toscano.

Antonio Camillo
Born and bred in the Maremma region on Tuscany's Tyrrhenian coast, Antonio Camillo spent fifteen years honing his skills as a cellar master in Maremma's most prestigious estates, with the last eight years dedicated to Poggio Argentiera.
Feeling the call to create his own path, Antonio recently embarked on his winemaking journey. He purchased two ancient, organic vineyards in the southern reaches of Maremma, bordering Lazio. These vineyards, totaling five hectares, lie in the area between Sovana and Pitigliano, nestled amidst the beauty of the Maremma landscape and neighboring the famed Saturnia hot springs.
This region, steeped in winemaking tradition since Etruscan times, boasts rich volcanic soil ideal for viticulture. Antonio stands among a cadre of local innovators, championing organic practices and crafting exciting "natural" wines that showcase the unique terroir of Maremma.
