Tuscan Almond Cantuccini Biscuits IGP
Almond Cantuccini are the most traditional and well known of all Tuscan biscuits, often enjoyed dipped into a glass of Vin Santo (traditional Tuscan sweet wine) creating a marriage of great harmony!
Carefully made with first quality ingredients including flour, sugar, eggs, honey and particularly almonds (23%), these Cantuccini now have certified PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) status.
To receive the PGI status, the entire product must be traditionally and at least partially manufactured within the specific region and thus acquire unique properties. The IGP designation serves as a protection for consumers. It provides them with the guarantee that the information about the origin and quality of the product is correct. Through IGP classification, Italy aims to safeguard its typical products from any imitations.
Presented in a gift box, these Cantuccini make a lovely present.
Wheat flour, sugar, almonds 23%, fresh pasteurised egg, butter (milk), flower honey, raising agent-ammonium bicarbonate, salt, natural flavours: Lemon. May contain traces of other nuts and soy.
